Yes, and it catches people out. Circuit of the Americas sits southeast of the city near Del Valle, the same side as the airport. On a race weekend the traffic management scheme covers the roads an airport transfer would normally use, so a journey that takes twenty minutes in February can take considerably longer. We plan around the scheme rather than into it.
